Information we receive
When you submit a request, you may provide your name, phone number or another contact, origin and destination countries and, where known, cities or terminals, cargo type and quantity, vehicle make, model and year, timing, approximate vehicle value, preferred shipping method and comments. The request also records its source, consent time and IP address for form-abuse protection.
Analytics cookies
If you allow optional analytics, we measure site use and advertising effectiveness through Google Analytics and the OpenAI Ads Measurement Pixel: page views, key clicks, form starts and accepted submissions. Heat maps store only daily aggregate click totals by page, broad device type and approximate page area. We exclude form controls and do not record sessions or keystrokes. Our measurement events do not manually include your name, contact, vehicle, exact route or comment. The OpenAI SDK uses campaign-attribution cookies and identifiers; if advanced matching is enabled for the Pixel, it may use hashed contact identifiers rather than raw contact details. Google Signals and Google advertising personalisation remain disabled. With your analytics consent, campaign labels are also saved with your enquiry. A WhatsApp message may include a campaign reference; opening WhatsApp alone does not mean a message was sent.
How we use the information
We use the information to check the route, select a shipping method, prepare an indicative timing and cost estimate and contact you about the request. Aggregate analytics help us understand which site sections generate requests and keep the form working.
Handling your enquiry
Your enquiry is stored in the website database. To process it, we may send the contact, route, vehicle and other information you provide to our 4logist CRM and our sales team's corporate email through Zoho Mail. The website does not include your IP address in those notifications.
Consent and contact
Analytics start only after you choose to allow them and can be withdrawn through Cookie settings in the site footer. Consent to optional analytics is separate from the processing needed to prepare a shipping quote. By submitting a form, you agree to the processing of the information provided for a quote and follow-up. Questions about data processing can be sent to office@wm-shipping.com.
